The John Wallace Swim School are LEADERS in Aquatic Education, for anyone who is serious about their swimming, anywhere from Beginners to Advanced!

Story

The John Wallace Swim School is a family owned business. Kristy Perkins is the manager and daughter of John Wallace. John is the head coach of the Pelican Waters Caloundra Swim Club and also runs Caloundra Aquatic Lifestyle Centre. His wife Vicki is the backbone of the business and youngest daughter Tessa is a Commonwealth Games medalist who is also coached under John.

So come along and take a look at what our amazing facily has to offer! Swim School, 5 pools - Heated 50m and 25m, adventure play, 18m rock pool and indoor teaching pool heated to 33 degrees. We also have a gymnasiam with all new equiptment, state of the art skate park, a cafe that is known for great coffee and loads of other aquatic classes to take on board.

I like nothing better a than taking my granddaughter swimming. But it seems everytime we go most lanes are closed to the public in both outdoor pools. And same in the inside pool for swim lessons I thought it was paid for with public money but seems to be there just for the benefit of instructors and squads
The toddler's pool was too cold. My 2yr old grandson was shocked when he put his whole body in the water. And it was not the 24°C we were told it was. The centre itself is nice enough but the temperature of the children's pool needs to be increased.
the changerooms need a good clean as shower cubicles are always dirty and now the walls are growing black mould! they need to get professional cleaners in as the staff neglect cleaning duties. the enclosed pool needs the corners of the bottom of the pool vacummed as a lot of brown stuff has accumulated in these areas
Visited for lap swimming during the week. The lanes were clearly marked and water temperature felt consistent. It wasn’t overly crowded when I went, and the pool area was generally clean. Staff were around but not intrusive.
Perfect for those windy days where the beach isn't an option. Staff and facilities are brilliant. Even do a really yummy coffee which is an awesome surprise. Octopus Pool is great for little ones. Bigger pools are great for more confident littlies. We LOVE this place!
