Have called 2 cabs, neither showed up. Better off just hailing one. Then they probably won't know where you're going so have Google maps ready to give directions.

So many drivers are nice, friendly and supportive. I would rather travel in a vehicle that is licensed for my safety. Driven by professionals that those driven by weekend warriors that have never worked in the public transport industry before. Taxi drivers get extensive training, unlike others. Have a complaint, talk to a real person, again unlike others. Taxi Drivers are small business operators, support small business. SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS.

Absolutely worst service! Today I was waiting for a maxi taxi with my mother, my daughter and my two siblings. All three are under 2. When we made our first call for a taxi the lady said "it shouldn't be long". Then I called back after we were waiting for 40 minutes. Another lady answered and I told her that we were still waiting on a maxi taxi she told me "sorry I can't find a taxi in your name I can book you one if you like? it shouldn't be long" so at this point kids were crying and very tired we had no one to pick us up so our only choice was to wait. another hour and half went by. No taxi came we had two walk home carrying shopping bags and the kids. 2 whole hours we waited I am disgusted!

Poor firm Cairns Taxi's, when someone orders a taxi for 3.55am the night before, that's when they want it, not at 4.10am. When the driver arrived he went to the wrong and then no apology, nothing. Bad service
