1.50$ for a potato cake that sat there for 40 minutes. Server refused to make fresh ones despite me being happy to wait. Much like other bad experiences, my potato cakes were pale, barely hot and flaccid.

Average coffee delivered with unfriendly customer service. Both the manager and the barista seem to be unhappy people, with heavy set faces. Usually in most places the regulars will get some sense of recognition from the staff - but not in this place. Regulars are treated in the same disengaged way as visitors. The only pro is that after 2.30pm they will offer small coffees at $3.00. When I enquired about this I was informed that it would also mean that soy milk will be discounted by 10 cents. However when I made my soy coffee order after 2.30pm, the manager still charged me the full price for soy milk!
The service here is terrible. The food here leaves a lot to be desired. The seating is decent enough...but dirty. I asked for a very very very simple alteration to a meal and they were not able to accommodate for some reason ?? The coffees are not good at all.... I really would NOT recommend this place unless you are for some reason extremely desperate.
Well I have experienced grumpy service before but these guys take the cake! Rude and don't listen to your very specific order because they are too busy telling you what it is you are going to have??? Coffee was good but I would rather have bad coffee served with less attitude at the beginning of my day! All the tables were dirty so no where to sit unless you wanted to sit amongst crumbs, spilt coffee and dirty cutlery and crockery. All in all an epic fail!
Great meals and sensational service! Staff are very friendly. I’ve been coming for breakfast all week.
Good place for a quick cup of coffee in the morning on the way to the office. Virtually no waiting and the coffee tastes great! They also have a sandwich bar for lunch as well as a selection of hot foods.
I bought a vegan and walnut bread here and had a very bad diarrhea after. The bread was soggy when I had it. I went back to the cafe and asked if it was fresh, he told me it arrived this week and showed me the cake was in the fridge. He tried to argue with me saying the bread was okay. I was very disappointed.
Have to agree with recent poor reviews. I ordered through the Hey You app. The barista was on the phone the entire time I was in the cafe and only acknowledged me to ascertain that I had placed the order - which was then plopped wordlessly on a table by the door. Coffee was undrinkable - I observed a half-full milk jug being topped up and reheated, so no surprise - and went into the nearest bin. A cheesecake I ordered was edible but bland - obviously made by a catering company as it was served wrapped in a plastic sleeve.
The reviews of this café are split so I decided to review it no matter what. I ordered through Hey You! The coffee was not ready when I arrived and was not the correct order - I ordered a small latte and got a large mocha. The barista was clearly a little overwhelmed. The coffee was not strong but not burnt either. The cup was pleasant but I probably wouldn't order from here again.
