Lovely cafe with great dumplings. If u like northern style lamb dumplings, this is a solid choice. The banana smoothie was awesome as well, overall a chill place to stay during lunchtime and afternoon :
I went to the cafe to have a pasta, which I got an idea from this Google review. However, it was not on the menu. The staff recommended the handmade dumplings and gave it a go. $2 for each and vege option is available. Overall, it was not my style cafe. There are 10+ coffee shops on this block of Walker street alone, and this is the best one for hot chocolate and has the kindest staff. Such a warm and calm environment and a lovely place to hang out.

I had a breakfast in here and it was amazing. Big and hearty, but tasty and quality. I think it was called 'The Big Pheonix'. Visiting from the UK, you can really tell the upscale in the quality of fresh ingredients and they are used here very well. The bacon was more like European kind I'm used to so that was a pleasant surprise. Also a really great flat white coffee, my new addiction. All in all a great spontaneous choice and highly recommended.
EDIT: They've taken over the whole agency so it's a much nicer place to sit and enjoy the coffee and food. Quick and friendly staff, one of my favorites in North Sydney. ****** They serve Campos. It's a quick, friendly place good for takeaway. It's located inside a news agency so the vibe is not great for drinking coffee there.
Amazing coffee and really friendly staff, ample room and tables for a safe lunch and a quick catch up. Only downside is that the food here smells great and makes you hungry!
