An unassuming coffee place, with basic but nice, reasonably priced lunch options. Place is bigger than it looks. Tab water when seated. Love the peppered chicken avocado salad, and the Chicken BLT with fries with gravy. Big breakfast is big.
For years, I went here weekly! The staff are lovely. The food is basic but a great deal. Plenty of seating in the back. Best milkshakes in North Sydney!

Good place for lunch on a working day. Smiling friendly staff. The thing I need to mention, they need to clean the tables after a customer leaves, I find it dirty on most days.
If you're a regular at bittersweet you should give the veggie burger a try, it's the best burger they have. The coffee is decent, don't forget to ask for almond or soy milk!
friendly staff and great value - consistently good coffee, and very quick service. Been breakfasting here for years now and they have a very reliable service. Especially good if weather permits outside seating.
