‘Euro lane’ is situated in a quirky lane in Melbourne city. It has really good wraps for those not wanting huge slithers of bread re sandwiches or focaccias. With these wraps- you get more filling than bread component obviously. I had the ‘Lamb Shoulder with Salad, Mint Yoghurt Hummus’- and feel like it was a healthy choice. $16.00 for the wrap to ‘dine in’ & their salads also look great -$10.00 takeaway. Would definitely come back again for a healthy bite to eat that’s not going to make me feel ‘weighed down with bread’.
Nice atmosphere. The homemade blueberry muffin was really good! A hidden gem near de graves street
Picked this place only because it had spaces. Food was underwhelming. Pancakes were ok. Bacon scramble was watery and sent back, still charged full $23 for plate of inedible food. $85 for 3 of us. Many better options on this lane and in this area at that price
Degraves Street is always an interesting and eclectic mix of flavours. My companion chose Euro Lane Cafe. We started with large mugs of coffee which hit the spot. Rich, creamy, flavourful coffee. She chose to try her first spanakopita and I went with the vegetable focaccia. The chef and the waitress were really lovely and that was certainly the best part about our visit. However the food took quite a while to prepare despite it not really being busy. And then when it did arrive, the spanakopita was quite overcooked and dry. The focaccia was pretty heavy on the butter/oil. When the bill came I was also surprised that this turned out to be one of the more expensive cafes along the street.
Good size food for the steep price, stated “seasonal fruits” with açai bowl on menu and included Kiwi fruit which I am intolerant to, wish they said on the menu what the fruits were. Only ate a 1/3 of it because of this. Scrambled eggs was good and liked how they didn’t put it on the toast, could have been hotter. 6/10, won’t return.
I was not expecting such delicious food from such a small cafe! The food amazed me! The costumer service was so nice. Strongly recommend the cafe to everyone.
The Lane itself is a Melbournian spot to visit! The Euro Lane Cafe is OK: it does the job of offering cafe and some light lunch for people willing to enjoy some spare time at the Lane. The food is just the average, the service is OK, staff is really friendly. IMO the the place is a bit overpriced for what it delivers. However, this is a good stop for a coffee if you are planning to visit the Lane.
They have good prices for the food you get, I liked the lamb burger a lot. However the staff do not wear gloves and some eat while cooking the food, and most do not wear face masks if that is something you are concerned with
Great location and atmosphere, but the food was pretty bad all round. French toast was well presented but tasted bland, the wrap was very expensive for what you get at $16, just the wrap no salad or anything on the side. Coffee was good though. Overall quite expensive for small portions of not great tasting food.
Great food, friendly service! The owner goes above and beyond to get people seated fed as soon as possible! True hustler! Great spot to enjoy some coffee & take in the atmosphere of this amazing city! To top it off they are pet-friendly!
