Contra has some of the best tasting coffee in the city. I cannot give 4-5 stars because every time I visit the advertised prices are incorrect or the staff don't know what the current discounts are. A ham and cheese croissant had a certain price sign in front of it and when the staff member charged me higher, I said the sign in front of it said it was this much and he said no no sorry that's the wrong sign and took the sign away. Today the staff weren't aware of the coffee and sandwich deal that was on the sign directly behind the staff member. Lastly, on a few occasions I have ordered a "toasted" ham & cheese croissant which has been given back to me with rock hard cheese and cold ham.
