Story

Being close to a five star restaurant, the team at Cafe 58 do everything we can to ensure you enjoy your meal. 'RESTAURANT QUALITY AT CAFE PRICES' is the motto at Cafe 58 and the ever increasing popularity of the venue is testament to this approach being desired and accepted. You see, we spend so much on buying first class produce that there's little left over, so if the tables wobble a bit because of our 100 year old floors, take comfort in the fact our best resources are centered on creating outstanding cuisine at cafe prices!

The main cafe features a long bar and seats 60 plus in what was the local post office during the 1920s. The ceilings are very high and fans, together with air-conditioning make it a cool retreat during summer.

In addition to the a la carte menu, an extensive range of cakes and pastries (delivered daily) are always on display. So for a quick coffee, snack or long leisurely meal, Cafe 58 is the place. Table service is available continually.

Designed to integrate both aspects of South East Asia and Mediterranean cultures, the courtyard is a charming and secluded spot with a large shade sail covering almost the entire area. The courtyard is enclosed within character limestone walls and has it's own toilet facilities including disabled amenities.

It is ideal for a lazy weekend breakfast, intimate lunch or dinner with friends. Live music is an added attraction on Sunday nights during summer.

Cafe 58 is located on the Palmyra/ East Fremantle border, with dedicated parking at the rear of the cafe as well as on street parking. Access is easy and opposite the cafe is an excellent drive through liquor store.
