The little horse on Queen Street, Caballitos is a late night tequila bar in the Perth CBD from renowned hospitality professional, Andy Freeman. One of the best bars in Perth! You will have a fun filled night here. Staff are incredibly nice and eager to help out. The tequila based bar has tasty cocktails and tacos. You will love the intimate dance floor with early 2000s RNB party favourites. Please enjoy but remember it unfortunately closes at midnight.

Tucked away, this hidden beauty is dark, cool and energetic. Not a tequila fan? Not to worry, there are other beverages available - my favourite is the Reverand V rose wine - crisp, refreshing and not too sweet/not too dry. The corn bar snacks (think peanuts) are very moreish and the food on offer (tacos, quesadillas etc) are great when you need something to go with your drink. There are a number of flavours and portion sizes to suit all tastes. This is a very female-friendly bar, where you can enjoy a quiet drink alone, or safely wait for your entourage to arrive without the fear of having your space invaded. The bar layout creates defined spaces which allows you to interact with other patrons or not with ease - with tables and chairs lining most walls. Definitely worth checking out!

Food was so bad I genuinely thought I would be sick the next day. When you’re running a Mexican bar and ruin something simple like a taco or a quasadeilla it’s time to re-hire. Think cold, over cooked, bland, greasy, frozen-appearing, congealed and malodorous. 1/10 Drinks were stock standard, below average cocktails. 3/10 Atmosphere was lacking, the place was visited on two different nights with both occasions being empty, looks like a strip bar in Cancun. 1/10 Staff were polite on greeting, the other server was irritable, bored, and obviously not wanting to be there. 2/10 Would I come back? No. I would go out of my way to tell friends to avoid it. I hope they turn it around, the idea is good, but it’s badly executed.

Have only been here after work on Fridays between 4pm and 6pm.. Can always get a seat and staff are friendly..people tell me it gets busy later.. But I don't mind it quite right after work
