Byron Private saved me, saved me from losing my family and myself. From the moment I reached out to the team I felt and not nothing but care and compassion. Everyone from Kylie the managing director to the cleaners were fantastic. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you all so very much.
When I first started at the BP, I was very sceptical about the whole concept around the community therapy but by the 2nd week I revealed a childhood trauma that I hadn't revealed to anyone including my family. This is when my scepticism left and I fully participated in all activities. I can honestly say that my experience at the BP was attitude changing. My family cannot get over the change in my attitude and behaviours. Thanks to Kylie and her professional team including medical, carers, chefs and all other specialists. I have continued to stay in contact with my fellow colleagues/community members. A great experience. Cheers Neil.
My experience at Byron Private TC was life changing! I will be forever thankful to the staff and residents for the amazing support that I received whilst in their care, and also post care follow ups. If you are looking for reprieve from your current situation and surroundings, and are ready to open up to the idea of repair and a new way of taking care of yourself, this is your place. Byron Private was a wonderful experience for me. I got a lot out of my stay here. The program is intense but very helpful. The staff are incredibly good at what they do and really give their time and show alot of care. The environment is beautiful and safe and the food is amazing. Highly recommend to anyone seeking help with addiction and mental health.
I couldn’t be happier with Byron Private I went in a mess & came out feeling like a new man, by day 3 I noticed my anxiety was gone & it only got better from there. The food was fantastic & staff & residents were so friendly & supportive, it’s the perfect place to heal & get your life back on track but just like other treatment centres you do have to put in the hard work, there’s no miracle cure. Truly an environment of healing and learning that has changed my life for the better in so many ways. I definitely recommend it for Veterans or anyone struggling with PTSD or a history of trauma and associated alcohol or substance abuse issues.
BP is a haven for healing, rest and to find a way back to your authentic self. The program will go where you need it to, and it’s truly remarkable how the staff and carers will be with you each step you take. Take heart and this is truly the place to find yourself and begin the journey back to the person you feel you can be. Namaste .
Before going to Byron Private I had hit rock bottom and wanted to end it all. I had suffered from depression and anxiety for nearly 20 years no substance abuse.I had been to various self esteem courses, seen counseling services read books etc. My son found Byron Private and encouraged me to look on the website. My family did not want to lose me. I felt that this was my last chance. I arrived at Byron at the end of May and stayed for the 4 weeks that was recommended by the staff after doing a phone interview. This has turned out to be the best choice I have ever made. The buildings, grounds and amenities are peaceful, well kept and provide a safe, calming and conducive atmosphere for rest and recovery. The program is evolved around nurturing the whole person including wholesome nutrition, skills to aid recovery and how to take these skills back into life after Byron. I personally found that being in a place that was set up so I could focus on my recovery and the daily reinforcement of what I had learnt each day helped immensely towards my positive outcome. If you are serious about improving your life physically and emotionally, I highly recommend the staff, the education and the safe environment provided at Byron Private to achieve your goals. I will be forever grateful to the people who assisted me to find the Jenny I use to be. Thank you all so much.
I can’t rate Byron Private highly enough. After 3 1/2 years of suffering with Post Concussion Symptoms I ended up at BP in a hopeless and desperately low On arrival I immediately felt that I was in the right place. It was professional, organised and the staff made me feel safe. The staff were genuine, patient, professional and totally dedicated to my care. If I saw or heard one thing that made me doubt or mistrust them there was no way I would’ve opened up like I did. They remained consistent, and I grew to trust them. The most important thing to me was that I felt heard and genuinely listened to. To have such skilled, highly trained medical, allied health and care professionals working in one place is so valuable and incredible. My treatment program was so effective. My health mental/physical/emotional has improved dramatically.
Byron Bay private was more than anything I’ve ever expected and I truly believe that I should’ve come 20 years ago. The carers and staff have been amazing and understand you and care for you in a way that surpasses anything I’ve experienced in my life. Their holistic approach is amazing and they truly have the best people in all areas to achieve your goal and treatment. I’m saying that... you yourself have to put the work in and be honest and willing. The food is amazing and everyone from the chefs to the therapists to the office staff are impeccable..... I believe everyone despite an addiction or not ....needs to attend to byron bay private as it equips you with life skills to live a fulfilling, authentic and true life and to tackle life’s challenges. For me I have leg feeling myself again and gained family and I can truly say has saved my life..... thankyou to all the staff member and residents that I got to share my journey with.....
