This cafe / museum is a hidden treasure. The food was excellent -soup was delicious, sandwiches were fresh and generously filled. The bread and butter pudding was the best I have ever had and that is saying something! The museum of teapots etc was fascinating and there is giftware galore for anyone wanting something special and different. A lovely atmosphere with friendly staff -very impressed.

Great concept and excellent place for tea pot aficionados. Scones were good and service also good. Definitely recommend a visit.

Disappointing High Tea! Looked like kids had made it and tasted ordinary. We prepaid and were extremely hungary so ate everything. We have tried High Tea at Hydro Majestic and Lillianfells and would highly recommend the Owner/Chef try these restaurants versions to see how it's done. Served tiny dry scones, ordinary cupcakes (that I can make much better) 2 small boring sandwiches and other items were totally forgetable. Disappointed to say the least. Staff were friendly and other meals looked great. Tea was lovely though. We prepaid for the high tea so left when finished as with visting friend on holiday. Sorry guys would not bring visitors to your high tea again.

Amazing place! Good food- huge servings. Tea nicely bright cup. Museum very interesting. Gift shop is mixed with new, vintage and antique jewellery, teas and tea settings and other gift novelties. All of this is set in a beautiful house (with unseeming extensions) surrounded by a nice garden.

Very nice tea rooms. Devonshire Tea is highly recommended. Enjoyed the house tea so much we bought some to take home. A must visit if you like this sort of experience.
