Beautiful gardens with a variety of walks through bushland, rainforest and open grassed areas with sculptures blended in with the surrounds. Free entry and amazing bushland gardens. Interesting sculpture by local artists set among unspoiled Australian bushland. A great place for a picnic or just a relaxing walk in nature.
The walk through the sculpture garden was a relaxing walk touching all my senses. Surrounded by natural bushland, sculptures were spread across the trail created by the sculptors works. Interpretation of their works were profound and gave me the opportunity to reflect on the reflections of their pieces. The mediums used were sandstone, marble and natural fibres. If you are looking for a great family day out then the Maroochydore Botanical Gardens is a must to experience. The sculptor park is only one area of the gardens. They have a Cafe, arts shop and many volunteers who are eager to share their knowledge. A great catch up outing with family and friends alike.
Lovely afternoon at Maroochy Bushland Botanic Gardens in the sculpture garden. Went to the Secret Garden event . Great local musicians in gorgeous setting .
