So happy they are being closed down! On two occasions we received abrupt and terrible service from some of the staff there. They were just plain rude! Sad for the few good staff they possibly had but so happy they are being shut down!

I love shopping here. Very helpful staff.  They make every effort to be super helpful and informative. Place is always well organised, buzzing with activity. They don't try and sell you something, they actually listen to what you need and suggest alternatives. I love the fact that it's not just about Bunnings but they will suggest that you might find it elsewhere. Actually feels like it's all about the customer. Keep up the awesome work guys.

Most dreadful store I've ever been in. Spent ages trying to order fire pit retaining blocks. The person couldn't confirm any in stock anywhere as they didn't know what the product was anyway. Left my details and got a call later saying the order had been made but it had to be confirmed with payment. Went in the next day to pay and confirm and the original person wasn't on the desk. Had to go through all the same details again and then I reiterated I was just here to pay so the order was confirmed, the person said they couldn't find the order and started running through all the rubbish I had gone through the day before. I live well out of town so wasn't amused with this muck around. When I said I 'll just leave it all they could say was yeah ok. Probably the worst service I've ever had in a hardware store. The people just are not capable in terms of knowledge or even knowing how to just be polite to customers. Won't be back which is no hardship as Mitre 10 down the road is ok.

Friendly cheerful staff.  I would love it to have a better range of products. I'm not sure why Hamilton has 2 large well stocked stores an TA and Cambridge don't.

Compared with their competition Mitre 10, this place is a joke.  We have trouble finding staff, then when you do its hard to find someone knowledgable about their product.  We ordered a lawn mower from the Te Awamutu store about 4 years ago. We followed up every week or so for 3 months then gave up and purchased one from Mitre 10.    Each time we were told it was on it's way.  I'd be extremely embarrassed if I owned this store.

Very sad this store will be closing soon and many of the people do not have any work to move on to.  The staff are always helpful and friendly.  Hopefully, they will find better jobs soon.

I went here looking for a Jasmine plant. After walking around the garden section which was unattended, I went to the front counter to ask about it as I could not see any. The young lady with long blonde hair was so rude. She started rushing toward the garden section, obviously annoyed I was asking, she also said that they didnt stock them at this time of year becsuse it was to cold and they would only die!! Meanwhile every other place I have been to has Jasmine plants & my landscaper says it would be fine to plant. She was very rude and disrespectful, I wont be returning in a hurry, she has lost lots customers because of her behavior. Totally rude lady. The atmosphere was awful and I felt like I was putting her out. Shocking service.

Bunnings has become a go to place for me because their prices are very reasonable.  I've made a few orders here for various things and when they'd arrive they'd call me up. Sometimes I'd go in sooner and wait for it to come off the delivery truck, sure enough it arrives when they say it should...
