5 stars for Julie from the special orders desk. I had a number of problems undelivered items, damaged benchtop etc with a recent Kaboodle Kitchen installation and Julie sorted everything for me. Always friendly, diligent and goes the extra mile. Cheers.
Have a great selection but the male customer service can be appalling. Females are always helpful but more often than not the men seem to be misogynistic and downright rude to females. ‘John’ to mention one who works on the whipper snippet aisle and was taking ages with a man and googling other stores and places to buy an item. After being purposely ignored for ages he was very short with me and gave me wrong advice.
It is awful to see a retailer who dominates the industry allow their staff to become so aggressive, disrespectful and rude to customers. Their South Tweed Heads store is leading this practice. Come on management, you can do a lot to advise these members to be civil when asked a simple question. The staff seem to be under so much pressure particularly in busy periods, they just don't want to help. So disappointing.
The most ridiculous system for buying Sir Walter grass rolls at Tweed Heads… they can’t tell you when it will be delivered, its first in best dressed, I asked the service desk what other people do and they said people just keep phoning to check, but what happens when you live 30 minutes away? It sells fast and I could drive up and find its sold out… absolutely ridiculous. Have to laugh a bit because when I was younger I would line up for concert tickets, now camping at Bunnings waiting for grass
Lisa in the garden section of Tweed Heads store would have to be one of the friendliest and knowledgeable staff members I have ever encountered. Nothing was too much trouble for her, she was patient with me and happily answered all my questions. Her extensive experience and knowledge base of plants was a very welcome change from other staff. Lisa makes all the difference to visits to Bunnings and she is a total pleasure to deal with.
