A few days ago, regrettably I had to return an item purchased from this store that was faulty. The item required simple construction with four screws. Due to the internal thread of one screw being burred completing the construction was impossible. I waited at the service desk for 10mins before i was even acknowledged although there were two staff present & only onr customer being served. There was no room on the service desk to even place my heavy boxed item so I was forced to stand with it until a third staff member arrived. During my interaction, the staff member was interrupted three times, delaying any progress with my return. On arrival of a team manager to inspect the item & have my explanation repeated, once again they were interrupted regarding other matters, regarding staffing & break times. Customer service standards have certainly deteriorated to an unacceptable level. Service desk staff were inattentive as they tried to juggle key cutting, telephone calls, a customer with a special order, serving customers with purchases & returns all at the same time. Staff lacked focus & attention to their customers. This was my experience but also what i witnessed with other customers while waiting to be served. The team was clearly short staffed & unhappy about this. Nottinghill Bunnings has always been my preferred store but this won't be the case in the future!
I was at bunnings nottinghill today at 1130am as i wanted to cut some keys, i was at the service desk at the front where you cut keys .The female worker served all the other customers with greetings and a smile but when it was my turn she was extremely rude, i really hope this was not because of my skin colour really disappointed guys as a well reputated company these kind of behaviour is unacceptable ,How ever the person handing back the keys were different as i came back after 10 minutes she was extremely polite and a great human being .and i saw the staff which was extremely rude back again when i exited yet again with no greetings or what so ever customer service..
Love the timber yard team. Always prepared to go the extra mile. Extra big shout out to the legend Scotty, I needed a few things, and he was happy to be my personal assistant. Nothing was too much to ask, he even helped with my large pink suitcase. I hope he's single cause I need a man like him in my life.
