I was in Bunnings Colac on Saturday 24th Jan 2026. It was a day of total fire ban and it was just before the fires started in the Otways and I overheard a staff member tell a person who was buying kindling that it was a day of total fire ban and that he couldn’t have an open fire. I was really impressed that this staff member was so well informed and was doing their bit to protect her community. Great work!
Just got home from bunnings Colac. Nursery section. So impressed with Bronwyn who helped me identify a problem with my Gardenia from a photo! She seemed genuinely interested in helping solve my issue. A great asset to your store.
Very Dissapointed after calling bunnings colac to enquire about a refund for unused products purchased a few days . I was told I could get a refund to the card I made my purchase from . When I arrived after a 40 minute drive I was told I could only get a store credit even though I had my recipt. I was then told they might be able to do the refund if I provided my licence details. So I gave them my licence and still ended up with store credit . I was made to feel like I was doing something dodgy just by returning goods. Because of this I will never step foot in Bunnings Ever Again .Not Good Enough Bunnings
Generally good staff.... The most frustrating thing is more often than not the aisle I want is blocked off.... can't purchase items if I can't get to themn.
Ordered a BBQ over the phone with a staff member all details exchanged & was told all good thanks for your order we will contact you once product arrives & you can come & make payment/pick up product...n4 weeks later I follow up on an ETA for product and was told no order was made no payment was made ??nTypical Bunnings staff no idea no communication amongst themselves so as everyone is on the same page with correct sales proceduresn4 weeks wasted waiting on nothing.....& no apologies or possible alternative options given!nWill be purchasing elsewhere !
