Huge store, you need your walking legs on! It has everything from paint to kitchen cupboards, outdoor furniture to storage solutions. I was comparing broom prices and lawn mower prices, hence the pics.nThey are just missing a cafe!
Love Bunnings! In general, this location wasn’t bad.nI didn’t actually know Bunnings has kitchen displays. Not heaps but enough to get some ideas. Pictured I kitchen and a laundry display.nLike most stores, heaps of stock, heaps of brands. Plenty of parking, easy to get to.
I went to Bunnings the other day and there was an older lady working named Tina in the garden center, she was very impatient and seemed very disinterested with helping me. I had only simple questions and found her to be very short and quite frankly rude with me. She then ended up handing me over to another great worker, Shaun who gave me much better service and seemed far more knowledgeable about the product outside. I normally love the Bunnings workers such as Shaun working there but someone such as Tina has left a stain on how I view Bunnings as a whole and am very appalled with how this shopping trip went down.
Have never heard the words ‘can I help you?’ Uttered from a staff member at the Ballarat store. I counted 7 staff members who saw me struggling to carry an internal door from the back of the store to the counter on a quiet and cold Friday night in Ballarat, and every one of them made the decision to not offer any help. I paid for the door then was watched by another 2 staff members while I tried to problem solve how to get the door on a trolley and still get it out the door. Still no help offered. I returned the door for a refund, telling them it was because no one offered to help. They refunded me, rather than help me get it to the car. This is not a new trend at this store. Staff actively avoid eye contact, pretend to be preoccupied and walk away from people with questions. I don’t know they have a 4.2 rating unless they’re picking up some of Delacombe’s reviews by default.
