Spent a very enjoyable time here for breakfast....more like brunch. The place is very spacious and bright. The service was friendly and I found it relaxing as there isn't a rush but truly want to provide you good old fashion service. I ordered a coffee and requested it extra hot...was made exactly the way I wanted extra hot but not not burning hot. My son had a burger and it disappeared very fast. There were no complaints and look great. This place is a must stop if you driving past.

Great experience.... food is freshly made from the kitchen behind. Came served hot and when asked for more chilis, which they didn’t have, we were given fresh jalapenos. The toilets were kept clean as well. For travelers like us, it was a great relief. Thank you and keep up the good work.

The place is amazing, like a little funny museum, all the way to the toilets. The service is what cost them two stars. Was not good. We had tea, which was good enough. Can't really mess up a cup of tea.

Bugger Cafe seems to have changed hands. Service now very poor. I won't stop there more. Great shame it used to be one of my favourite places.

Had a latte there today. Definitely one of the better ones I had in Aotearoa. Brought my own cup. Got a discount. This wasn't advertised anywhere, so it came as a lovely surprise :) The barista was also very friendly and informed every customer that even though the kitchen was closed already, they were happy to serve snacks and coffee.
