Story

Noberto Spagnolo was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he lived a life indelibly marked by the intrigues and epic struggles for power that besieged his homeland.

After establishing restaurants in Argentina and Spain he settled in South Australia in the early 1980's when he opened the first authentic Argentinian restaurant in Australia with his wife Julia Messinger. His seperation from his country only served to deepend his love and respect for his heritage and culture.

With their expertise they have survived more than 25 years in South Australia and it is a challenge to seperate Noberto, the restaurant from Noberto, the man.
He does not follow food fads or nouvelle cuisine but creates classic old-world dishes and his success hinges on the ruthless rejection of any produce other than the finest or the freshest.
If he is not happy with the quality it is taken off the menu.

Friendly staff owner?. Food was well portioned for large people. I'm on the smaller side so couldn't quite eat all that I wanted to. But not from lack of trying.

What a gorgeous and memorable meal! Everything we ordered was fantastic. The wine, the food and Julia's in-between courses chat was first class. This is an old world find with modern touches and fab wines. Highly recommended!!

Absolutely superb. Great value for money with an excellent menu of many and varied choices designed to please any ones tastes. Excellent!!

The food was absolutely delicious with very generous portions. I loved the variety offered on the menu. I really enjoyed the service and atmosphere.

Overpriced, ordinary food that I could have cooked from Coles ingredients. Service lackadaisical, wine list by the glass less than ordinary. Would not recommend or eat there again.

Meals were oversized and not worth the money. Calamari was rubbery and wine sub par. Black pudding was amazing though. They should reduce menu variety and stick to what they are good at.

Wow.  Literally just came back from lunch there and very impressed.  Really good service, delicious food and you certainly won't leave hungry.

Excellent friendly service, always a pleasure rating here. And the food is always fresh and tasty.
