Story

Noberto Spagnolo was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he lived a life indelibly marked by the intrigues and epic struggles for power that besieged his homeland.

After establishing restaurants in Argentina and Spain he settled in South Australia in the early 1980's when he opened the first authentic Argentinian restaurant in Australia with his wife Julia Messinger. His seperation from his country only served to deepend his love and respect for his heritage and culture.

With their expertise they have survived more than 25 years in South Australia and it is a challenge to seperate Noberto, the restaurant from Noberto, the man.
He does not follow food fads or nouvelle cuisine but creates classic old-world dishes and his success hinges on the ruthless rejection of any produce other than the finest or the freshest.
If he is not happy with the quality it is taken off the menu.
