1 Did not get the category I ordered and paid for no price reduction, 2 When I wanted to extend my lease, that was not possible, and when I called the hotline they could not give me a quote either. They told me I had to go to a Budget station in Belgium to extend. I was in the Netherlands at that time. Ridiculous. 3 When I returned the car I did not get a receipt. After I still did not get a receipt on the next day I went to the counter again as I was still in Brussels, and they presented me a bill more than 200 Euro over the expected price, and they did not know why either. After some discussion they fixed it. Recommendation : Stay away from them. Terrible service and it honestly felt like they wanted to rip me off as they took me for a tourist who'll never come back.

Signs take you to returns, go in the airport to get your contract they call it that before picking up your car. Most cars are manual shift, not automatic.

I have used Budget a couple of times and no issues at all so far. Staff was helpful and very clear about the process. Both pick-up and drop-off were hassle free. Kudos to them

Wouldn’t recommend at all. Extremely bad service, they declined my card saying it was a Russian card. While obviously their system was at fault because I had a credit card issued by an Indian bank. I have used the same card at the same rental two weeks back and also all over Europe without any problem. And the staff had the audacity to accuse me, saying you might be using a fake card.

Giving 1 star as unfortunately 0 is not possible.  We had a small accident during our rental, filled in all the insurance papers in which it was quite clear the other party was the responsable one. They charged me the expenses for fixing the damage, which is fine as they already had informed me they would until the insurance would intervene. Now after 4 months they still have not reimbursed my money, nor have given any details on the state of the insurance claim, just hat it "might take some time" .I sincerely doubt the insurance firm would take so long to confirm the responsibility on a very straightforward accident. They are just holding on to the money.  Very disappointed  Edit: a month later and informed the social media channels as per budgets response, but still not a single peep out of them.

We rented the car originally from Brussels south Airport charleroi. Premium service really. But we dropped the car in Brussels airport Zaventem. We witnessed very poor quality service. Rude to customers, so slow, and the way the employee talked to another customer was awful. I gently asked if the only guy working could ask for back up after 15 min wait. They said "you can leave they key at your own risk" . What kind of an answer is this? Don't rent fron them if in Brussels airport Zaventem

Can t put a 0.... but they are under everything qua client focus and service.... It is unbelievable that they do not care about helping clients in special situation - Business trip during a driving license swap between countries - Advice to all future clients: Do not count  on anyone especially the Manager of Brussels airport counter to help you if you are in trouble. Proof is made, she does not give a dam about clients'satisfaction and will not try to find a solution for you - When I asked for an escalation she even refused to transfer my call to her superior....

We had a great experience with Budget at Brussels airport. Our flight from Dublin was delayed but the staff member waited on after closing time to make sure that we weren’t left without a car. Much appreciated!

You MUST avoid budget rental here!!! When I booked a car from Rentalcars, I purchased insurance in advance. But here, they don't care it and says regardless of it, You need to purhase budget's official insurance. Therefore, I got 2 insurances which is a lot and expansive .And they forced me to pay small extra stuff as well. If you want to read a paper of the payment, a staff pushes you to pay as quickly as possible without reading it. A staff Almost skin head guy turned to be anger and told me "I have another customers behind you! so sign it!!!" That's their way to make profit.  I became HATE belgian people because it's the first experience during my trip.  With paying double!!!

I would like to thank the staff at Budget car rental in Brussels airport! I recently rented a car for two weeks 31 May through 14 June. I ended up in Charleroi Hospital on the first day with a heart attack. My wife cannot drive a standard transmission and so coukd not drive the car. A call to Brussels airport solved the problem when the staff there  enabled a tow with my wife to Charleroi airport where they were able to exchange the car for an automatic transmission. I cannot stress enough that the staff at Brussels Airport made certain that my wife would be able to drive almost immediately!  Thank you, thank you, thank you.  Pat and Nicole Quinn
