Budget Car and Truck Rental Rockhampton City

Budget gave my personal details to a debt collection agency after the travel agency that made the rental booking didn't pay the invoice from a year earlier. Instead of pursuing a travel agency who they no doubt hope to continue receiving business from, Budget chose to pick on the little guy via a debt collector. Not sure what this will do to my credit rating/history but it seems this a risk you take when choosing Budget.

Great staff. No issues

We got a car at short notice as they opened their doors at 8am on a Sunday morning. We were served by Rheanna who is hands down the most efficient, courteous, and effective car hire staff member we have ever come across. No nonsense, clear and friendly and also willing to go the extra mile to help us get on our way. Would highly recommend this company based on our interactions.

We arrived early 8am to pick up a ute that we booked online prior to the date of pick up. Arrived with the staff member stating the car had not returned yet. The staff member seemed grumpy and was not smiling or helpful. A car was sourced from Gladstone two staff members stated the car would take approx 1 1/2 hrs Ute arrived after 11am. A courtesy call would have been nice as my partner and I had planned a quick trip to buy equipment from Brisbane required for his business. The ute was great. I will source other rental businesses before using this service again.

Overcharged without consultation, quoted price $109.87 and charged direct to credit card $145.71.

Awesome customer service and the best deals. Were needed a truck asap and they came through for us. We love budget!!!!

Staff unfriendly and unhelpful, did not provide accessories as specified during booking. Blankets, trolley, etc Would not recommend to anyone. Worst experience with a rental company, period.
