Budget Car and Truck Rental Rockhampton Airport

DONT RENT A CAR WITH BUDGET ROCKHAMPTON, The worst service ever and they have no idea what they are doing from Budget Rockhampton Airport. I've been renting with budget elsewhere over 5 years Cairns were extremely helpful Brisbane hit and miss with staff, Mackay also hit and miss with staff and cars. Rockhampton Airport staff and management need to be either replaced or trained and given better attitudes towards customer service after being a loyal regular customer they placed me on a high profile customer list and barred me from renting after denying my work id card as it didn't have an expiry date. I was also charged for fuel and extra fees of totalling $100 when I always ensure it was full on return and even had many emails back and forwards with customer service and no resolution. So if u want no customer service and hidden extra fees charged go to Budget Rockhampton Airport. Honestly do not waste your time go to Enterprise Rockhampton Airport

Not very helpful staff this Friday. I have my cards all digital including driver’s license where their website said I can present it if I’m in same state. After challenging that one and won, they wouldn’t accept phone wallet. I don’t carry cards. Seems these guys are still in the dark ages.I’ll give them a 1x, The other rentals were much more pleasant and helpful

We hired a car for 30 hours, upon arrival we selected extra insurance cover for $50. Next week when the money was withdrawn from my account that 50$ was charged twice because I hired the car for 24plus hours. No email sent to confirm transaction, poor telephone service and sneaky way to charge extra fees. I will not be using this company in the future

Very scummy company. Was given a truck with 4 NOT road worthy tyres and when one went flat was expected to replace and pay the full amount even though we took out extra damage cover. Was told the $40 a day cover did not cover flat tyres. Complete rip off and disgusting attitude towards the problem. Very unsafe company to be given a truck with 4 NOT road worthy tyres!

First time renter here. Had so many questions, called so many times that I probably spoke to everyone that worked there. The staff were friendly and knew what they were talking about. Vanita? On the check-in was loquacious and kind then when I hit a snag lost the fuel cap keys Rhonda made the incident reporting process and finalization a breeze - making things go right, even if they went a little wrong! Thanks Budget!
