"The park's narrow creek flows through a steep sided valley with majestic river red gums, some more than 300 years old. This area was once a favourite camping, hunting and gathering ground for the Kaurna Aboriginal People. Large river red gums line Brownhill Creek while blue gum woodland climbs the valley slopes. The park also supports a small, threatened, ecosystem of greybox grassy woodland. Today, this 51 hectare park offers an escape from the city and includes a horse trail and fenced horse exercise area."

If you live in the area, I implore you to visit. Photographers and Exercisers alike will love this place. The tails are not challenging so it can make part of your normal local walk and the sites are beautiful. KEEP IN MIND when walking the trail Google maps shows roads that intersect with the walking trails. It seams these roads are actually l form part of the park’s infrastructure and as such don’t take you to the surrounding residential suburbs. The trails are narrow so watch out for bike riders who can pass you with out warning and quite fast. No COVID-19 restrictions IE no social distancing or face masks enforced.
This park is a great place for hiking and jogging. The road is relatively flat. It's quiet in the woods. Brownhill Creek flows by the roadside in the rainy season. Adelaide Brownhill Creek Tourist Park is right here.
Beautiful piece of nature on the edge of town. It has a resident koala colony, great for taking international visitors to see. Volunteers have been working hard over many years to eradicate weeds etc from the Bush and their efforts are paying off big time. A great place for picnics and Bush walks
We went there last weekend. Autumn in the hills is just stunning. The walking trail was easy to troll, very suitable for dog walking, or cat walking for us. It was the longest walk that our cat every did with us. He walked with his tail held high at all times for 40 mins! It was a record for him.
Beautiful 5km loop through the park along the creek. Great to get out in nature and explore.
Brownhill Creek was beautiful. The Caravan Park was in a lovely setting but I didn't feel real save there. The toilets etc could do with some upgrading. The Management were lovely and helpful
Took our Labrador for a walk and swim with her brothers absolutely loved it definitely worth the day out.
Great spot for either camping or with a caravan/campervan. Close to town so you can do the 20 minute walk or drive in a couple of minutes. Even though its so close to the city you feel like your tucked away with all the trees and quiet sounds of nature. Plenty of cooking facilities, showers and toilets. If you need to catch up on some washing they have you covered with washing machines and clothesline just make sure you have some pegs, or ask someone who has been set up for awhile as everyone there is super friendly and notices a few people where staying here for a few months. Even someone walking an alpaca!
Beautiful area for walking. We saw kangaroos, koalas, different birds and the creek was flowing rapidly.
Such a beautiful place to walk around. Couldn't see any maps of tracks but if you have time it's nice to walk and discover. Not too busy and parking was easy to find
