Many heritage buildings in South Australia belongs to the University of Adelaide. One of the most beautiful is the gothic style Bonython Hall, a ceremonial venue used for graduations and public lectures. It stands beautifully facing the North Terrace and gives the University of Adelaide such an amazing grand feeling.

You have to see the architecture - amazing!

Truth be told I did not go inside, but wow such lovely architecture!  I was here at dawn and watching sky start to light up whilst the tree lights etc were still on was lovely!  The architecture clashes positively with the newer building around the campus adding to the experience as well.

Great little venue for more intimate shows, obviously it's part of the uni so it's only really used for such during the festival / fringe. Although it can probably seat over 1000 people it never feels like m o re than a couple of hundred.

What a beautiful building.Its wonderful to attend loved ones  milestones in the beauty of Bonython Hall.

Love the architecture and old style fittings inside. Great space for graduations.

This place is a great venue! Beautiful old building that is part of the uni. Saw a fringe show here, no complaints!

The turrets of Bonython Hall have always intrigued me. Another complimentary stunner to North Terrace. A fun fact is that the hall floor is slightly slanted to prevent people from dancing on it
