Great bus access to this station, provides connection to the Central Coast & Newcastle Line, located close to the McDonald Jones Stadium, great wide and long platforms. Station itself has some nice wall art in the underground pathways, above ground station is pretty stock standard.
Today, 13/03/23, Monday, 09:10 AMnOur family were topping up the payment in the machine for 4 members and awaiting for train which was arriving at 09:30 AM.nWaiting near the stairs side. The man was so rude telling us to tap on, tap on continuously in a very aggressive voice such a racist, we stated that the train will arrive around 9:30 so we are waiting here for a while. He shouldn't be doing such behaviour to the individuals. His name is unknown but short senior man ad white hair. I even don't like to give 1 start I would give zero. Such a bad public service. The station should replace that rude man with other decent person.
A very clean station though the bogans speaking terribly and degrade Newcastle for why tourists visit this city.nThe vulgar coming out of the bogans mouth is deplorable and disrespectful to those whom respect Newcastle.
Overall I like the station,but it lacks a very basic amenity,charging ports
Good clean train station friendly staff immaculate toilets central to transport for Newcastle.
