Brisbane Entertainment Centre

Story

The Brisbane Entertainment Centre is Queensland's premier entertainment, sporting and meeting facility and was purpose built to accommodate the most complex events, from an intimate setting of 500 people up to a maximum of 13,500 for the grandest extravaganzas and international conferences.

The Brisbane Entertainment Centre was built by the Brisbane City Council as a world class multi purpose facility which formed part of Brisbane's bid for the 1992 Olympic Games. Ownership was transferred to Stadiums Queensland (formally Major Sports Facilities Authority) from 1 July 2002. The Centre has been operated since its inception by AEG Ogden (Brisbane) Pty Ltd.

Primarily recognised as a venue to host concerts, family shows and sporting events, the Brisbane Entertainment Centre also specialises in staging corporate events in particular, conferences, seminars, product launches and gala banquets.

Conveniently located in Brisbane's northern suburbs, the Brisbane Entertainment Centre is situated just 16 kms from the Brisbane CBD and a 8 kms from Brisbane Domestic and International airports.

I have been here few times to enjoy music concerts, to name few, Kylie Minogue to Imagine Dragons, the recent one. It's a good venue to enjoy some music performances, but in terms of location it is a bit far. It'd be a perfect and ideal place if concert venue like this located at around the centre of the city 😉.

An event center that still offers car parking ($15) relatively close to the actual concert hall. The concert hall itself offered good accoustics, and the venue wasn't so huge that we had to watch the performers on screens. Gotta love that.

What a place. Easy to get to, easy parking (tho remember to have cash in your pocket) and a clean venue. Saw the Harlem Globetrotters here and it was stunning! Great views, good sound and a stunning atmosphere. Will be back.

The best venue for concerts and other performances. Been coming here for years. Here tonight for Imagine Dragons 😆

The car parking design is ridiculous , well organised on arrival, but nothing on leaving. Needs some traffic management to get cars out of all areas. Not a single car has moved a mm in carpark 3 in last 15 minutes. I can't believe they charge $15 and then do nothing.
