On Saturday the 28th of feb 2026, the most amazing librarian helped me! We were in a 15min park and she honestly was soooo good. We genuinely were in and out with the book I needed for university within 3 minutes and 30 seconds! I know this because I had a timer going to make sure we made it back to the park in time. This angel got us in and out in 3 minutes and 30 seconds!!! It was around 4:20pm-ish. Honestly amazing now I can read Jane Austen's Persuasion thanks to that lovely lady!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Staff are really committed to including everyone in the community. I particularly appreciate their quiet support of homeless people in the area — any of us could be in that situation. Lots of kids which you love to see. Feels safe, staff are proactive in addressing any concerns you might have. Lots of comfy places to sit. It’s not a State Library type of library, more like a community space, so as others have said it can be noisy at times, bring headphones if that’s likely to bother you. Personally I appreciate the activity level. Check out the library website and apps, lots of great services. Catalogue is easy to navigate, I like the recommendations function. Keep it up guys!
Sunshine Library is beautiful, and when I got here, everything was very quiet. Only when I got to the second floor did I see a bit of noise from the children. That day I went with my sister and I saw that a lot of people came here to work or study with tutors :- The library is very airy and has many windows so it's very bright inside. This place is very suitable for children because there are many comics and play areas. That's why the library is very clean. I will come here again later.
Visited here for the first time and was welcomed by warm and friendly staff. The staff lady who was helping a visitor to print today was amazing. Even though the visitor was struggling to comprehend the assistance, the female staff was gentle, patient and friendly the whole time.
First time here today. What a great library and kids area. So clean and had some activities and spaces. Really engaging and lots of light. Will be back.
