The staff at Sunshine Library are absolutely outstanding! They are always helpful, friendly, and readily available to assist with any questions or needs—truly a credit to the library.nnHowever, my experience while studying for a major exam over the past month has been challenging due to the behavior of some visitors. The noise levels, particularly from loud phone conversations and children running and crying on the upper floor, significantly disrupt the quiet environment one expects in a library. Unfortunately, there seems to be a lack of courtesy and consideration from some patrons.nnA library should be a space where individuals can read, work, and study with minimal distractions. I believe that with more awareness and reminders about maintaining a quiet atmosphere, the overall experience at this wonderful library could be greatly improved for everyone.
While the Sunshine Library offers many positive experiences, we encountered a minor setback during our recent visit. My son particularly enjoys the upstairs area, but became upset when he couldn't play Mario Kart. Despite this isolated incident, we've had pleasant visits in the past. The library provides a welcoming environment, and I would still recommend it to other families. I'm giving it 4 stars, acknowledging both the enjoyable aspects and the occasional limitation.
My favourite building in Sunshine, such a great library and community centre. Librarians are always friendly and helpful, the interior space is beautiful and well designed. The book selection quality here is amazing and stocked with the latest books, which is above average for libraries in this area. Members are able to book study and meeting rooms. Overall it is just such a wonderful and safe space for the community, well done to Brimbank City Council and the library team.
Sunshine Library is beautiful, and when I got here, everything was very quiet. Only when I got to the second floor did I see a bit of noise from the children. That day I went with my sister and I saw that a lot of people came here to work or study with tutors :- The library is very airy and has many windows so it's very bright inside. This place is very suitable for children because there are many comics and play areas. That's why the library is very clean. I will come here again later.
The library saved my day, i was sick and tired from daily work and life so i decided to take a walk and as i was walking pass this library i feel like reading some books and spending dome quite time here. As it turned out to be a good decision, i heard chitchat and laughter from the distance, not too much that would annoy everyone but as much as a background noise, enough to break me out of my depressive thoughts. There are interesting connection building activities like building 1000 puzzles and playing games, and i got invited to a video marketing promotion for the library, twice! It made me grounded and valuable as a person. I really feel happy and connected to this community. The staff are super friendly and smiley.nnSad in, happy out!! 5 stars
