If I have to give minus I would do that. It’s not the first time I have bad experience. I can write books about their blunders. Today I have checked in for my son’s vaccination. After waiting over 40 min I have been told that appointment has been cancelled last week and we have been informed. What a lie. They forgot to order vaccination My son is under care of GOSH. They only requested them to order one vaccination as he is most likely to get infection. But our PRIMARY CARE don’t care.
I cannot understand all the negative reviews of this place. I have only been with them a few months, but I have found them helpful and efficient in all respects. They would have got 5 stars if the waiting time to speak to someone on the phone could be shortened, but that is a problem in many organisations.
One of the worst surgeries ever, impissible to book appointments ,if you get one its on the phone, all of them are heartless and clearly only do the job for the money now, if you want to live go elsewhere, this surgery is where you go to die!
My 3 years old child have a blocking nose problem I take him to the gp more than 3 times More than years ago no Send me to specialist I'm still waiting
Always a good service. If you fill out a e consult online they always call back the same day and see you if needed.
We have been with Bridges Medical centre for over 50 years now and will be very sorry to be leaving them when we relocate to the South coast in the near future. Yes there have been many changes in all those years, all the old school doctors have retired and home visits are long gone, the pandemic made things even harder and even more frustrating to not be able to see a doc in person, but even through a very difficult 2 years of hubby fighting cancer twice, the staff have all been lovely and doing their best under difficult circumstances. I would not hesitate to recommend this surgery, so a huge thank you to all the doctors and staff who know us and wish you all the best for the future. You have a few more weeks of us yet, but having had my 6 monthly medical health checks this morning and very helpful advice on how to enrol with a new surgery I wanted to leave an honest and positive review.
You stated your surgery is open until 6.30pm but it’s closed and no one can answer the call. Stop stating false information!
Have been with BMC my whole life - the medical staff are great, receptionists are lovely in person…. But Getting an appointment is near impossible. Call at 8:29 to get in the queue… if you’re lucky your call doesn’t get disconnected… if you’re unlucky your call will get disconnected several times whilst in the queue seemingly luck of the draw, and even once you’re past the queue and seemingly dialling through, the call might just cut out randomly. The IVR also makes you incredibly guilty for even attempting to get an appointment to speak with a doctor.
You will be in a call queue for over ten minutes, then you will be prompted by an automated message to seek assistance elsewhere. If you want to speak with a GP you will first be quizzed by a non english speaking reception member.I managed to speak to a nameless GP regarding my poor health and was simply told to go to my pharmacy and use over the counter products.. explained to this fool that I had been doing so for the last Month The Staff and GPs here will do EVERYTHING they can to fob you off and prevent you seeing a GP. Useless,Naff place
Rude Receptionist, doctors are ok once you get to them but is getting there that is a problem. Always end up in urgent care centre for treatment
