Wanted to give 2 and a half stars, but 3 is okay because the service was nice. Burger was small for its price not much difference than a McDonald's burger, cold burger bun, chips lots of little off cut hot chips more of those than full nice long decent sized chips, drinks are expensive. Tables outside need some work.. small amount of food for price, would not return but great service.

Great service, beautiful cocktail and deliscious burgers. Would have loved to see Kumara fries on the menu as I'm not a potato fan but thats purely personal preference

Love this place, it is most definitely THE BEST address in Island Bay ! Staff is so friendly and lovely, the garden bar is a really cool spot to hang out on a nice day and dog friendly ! and the gorilla burgers are really yummy.  Fantastic experience, I will absolutely be back and highly recommend !

The burger was delicious just a little small. And at just under $20 a few chip on the plate would be nice. Saturday night the bar closed for drinks at nine. At 9.04 with quite a few people there I couldn't get a beer.

Took the family in for a meal and was a good experience. Atmosphere was nice and family friendly. Demi the waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and gave the kids pages to colour in. Dogs are welcome which is a bonus. Will be returning soon

Brewd is an excellent establishment. Despite the night being very busy, and clearly being overrun with customers, the food and service was exceptional. In particular this lovely girl called Bella was friendly and had great menu knowledge. She was a superstar!!!!!

The Gorilla burgers are just so good. Really happy to discover yesterday the bar now has some Parrotdog beers on tap too. It’s great to have more variety than Fortune Flavours beers - which just aren’t that exciting.

Drinks and staff are decent, but place is dead and their food has gone to rubbish since they've started running the Gorilla Burger menu. They used to have such nice burgers, and now they've attached their brand to probably one of the less appealing burger franchises in Wellington.

Great easy location and good food. Wasn't sure how I was going to tackle the Beef & Chook Burger as it was so high, but I had to try and managed it - bun could probably have been a touch bigger to allow for all the contents, but small point. Son had the kids burger which he enjoyed. The quesadilla did have sweet chilli sauce which was a surprise as it isn't mentioned in the menu which meant my son wasn't as keen, but for me it was nice. Service as always is friendly, the place well presented and with the outdoor area out the back it's always a nice spot if that's your thing.

Great little pub in Island Bay,I really enjoy the vibes but shame about the gorilla burger being the only food option. They used to do nice pizzas. Gorilla burger can be categorised as expensive McDonald's. Meh. 4 stars
