Friendly and good service but the coffee needs improving. Otherwise a great place to relax.
nice setup, staff are a little inexperienced and inattentive, have frowns on their face a lot, the coffee size for take away is very small, and the size options are dis-proportionate. The standard size is like a kids size, and the large size is equivalent to a medium on industry standards. Ordered a mocha with honey, for take away, and as the size volume was so small, and they obviously used a teaspoon of honey, it made the blend too sweet. Had to go and get another coffee elsewhere to make up for the fix. Would be nice if they smiled more and interacted more with customers, which makes the whole coffee experience nice.
Some stuff were great, others were rude. Food was great but took a while for it to come out.
The best thing about this place is the staff. Every time we’ve been here they have been great.......but the food can be a bit hit and miss depending on what you order. I always tried to order something that must be cooked fresh because I think anything that can be cooked and left under a heat lamp until ordered is. Our drinks were always good though.....
The worst burger I have ever eaten. Bun was stale and when we notified the waitress she said 'ok'. Sure it was in a shopping centre but they had a nice aesthetic set up and we were hungry. It was pricey and the best part of the meal is a toss up between the wine and leaving.
Don't know what the others are on about, we visit this cafe every time we are in Chadstone, about every 2 weeks, the coffee is spot on, the food is excellent, especially the Salmon specials, every good as we have had in Paris, the service is friendly and attentive, the New York cheese cake is the best we have had anywhere, the prices are very good for the high quality of the dishes, people are quick to judge, but having eaten here many, many times, have not had a disappointing dish yet, don't listen to a few disgruntled people.Its sad that Chadstone pushed this cafe out, as they have Capital Kitchen, only real place to eat is upstairs, if you don't want Mexican or Asian you are out of luck, only the food court really left, shame. The food was Ok, staff were friendly with a smile : Coffee was pretty decent. I recommend the Salmon Benedict. A comfortable experience. Not the best option in Chadstone, but definitely better than others.
By far Bouchee has the best coffee in Chadstone Shopping Centre. They have their own blend of beans locally roasted to their specification. Its consistent, full bodied, never bitter, smooth, full flavored, robust. The staff are lovely too!
Terrible waited 20 minutes to be served asked girl cleaning table to get someone to take our order twice before anyone came. Then what I planned to order wasn't availble. Waited another 15 mins for coffee. Then my mother's order came without mine asked twice where my meal was and said it was coming.. I then waited 10 Mins for it to come before giving up and leaving without my meal. Very dissapointed.
Good for a shopping centre island joint but wouldn't revisit. Sourdough was either not good or not sourdough. No butter was provided until asked. Coffee more than drinkable.
