I am not from Perth and have visited this store twice. The first time was before 10pm and the middle aged sales assistant was curt and abrupt, but I had no issues with that really. Tonight was the second visit and it was after 10pm. This is when you are not permitted to enter the store and as somebody else commented, “treated like a criminal”. I asked for 2 bottles of Shiraz at a price of $8 which was the price which I paid before. I could not browse obviously, which is what a wine connoisseur would do. Let’s be clear, cheap wine does not mean poor quality - quite the opposite in many cases. The sales assistant was extremely rude to me and said I should not complain - I didn’t and I said I wouldn’t. He abused me, saying that cheap wine is only good for headaches. He has no idea at all about wine, but was willing to abuse a customer who clearly knows more about wine than he does! Expensive wine does not necessarily mean better quality.
The store really needs to get it together & update there details on google. It says they're open until 12am but I've been there 3 times in the past year before that time & they're always shut. What a waste of uber money. I can't imagine how many people have gone there before 12am & they're shut.nnIt also has two different buildings posted which is confusing especially at night.nnWhen I call way before 12am, no one picks up the phone. Useless & unprofessional if you ask me‍
Wow, this owner/manager or whatever is phenomenal, he was open at 12am and got me exactly what I needed NO DRAMAS and answered the calls I gave him at midnight to ensure I could get the drinks I needed, What a bloody legend! Bald head guy, I think he owns the joint! Thanks again happy new year mate.!
Weird system of ordering from behind the rope. A security precaution necessary due to the mostly angry and argumentive indigenous folks.nGot what I needed but was subject to harassment from said folks as has been my entire life experience.nnDon't let it put you off the guy serving was ace at his job and handled it well.
Extremely disappointed with the service from the phone operator tonight I believe named Chris. Unprofessional and aggressive. Went to a different bottlemart and had a great experience.
