I made an appointment with Frank to view a vehicle, which I had to wait the weekend to view and test drive because as he put it he was golfing, cool. I got a babysitter and borrowed a car and went to the appointment. When I got there he was gone, and because he doesn't have a receptionist, he couldn't be contacted. I waited until he returned and he had completely forgotten about the appointment, and the car wasn't even drivable, waiting on a timing chain from Edmonton the following Thursday. As I waited to test drive the car, Frank sold it from underneath me for cash. Super shady business practices. It's obvious why this guy is operating inside someone else business, renting space. Enjoy the next 18, Frank.
Super disappointed with our purchase at first everything seemed ok even though I felt a little worried when pulling on the lot as it looks very sketchy, Frank seemed like a super nice gentlemen so we gave it a chance. Coming from 8hrs away and having our young daughter with us we needed something reliable which we were reassured the inspection passed and got report showing everything passed. Not even a hour later after leaving my husband noticed we had no windshield wipers on front or rear of vehicle so he then had to spend the whole evening fixing this and it turns out both motors were gone which we replaced. Then we get up at 5am to head home and realize we have no headlights which we had to drive in the dark in winter with a family with high beams only!!! This is something you would think would of been checked over on a inspection for safety reasons A week has passed and we get a inspection done at shop in Grande prairie as there is a clunking noise in front end to find out the rack and pinion leaking and needs replaced as well as bushings which is $2500 My husband then Calls frank to see if there is anything that can be done and we are told No It would of been caught on there end it would of been fixed and that we are OWN OUR OWN! So in the end we are out a week after purchase approx. $2850.00 out of pocket Plus approx. 6 hrs. of my husbands time minus a $100 cheque for windshield washer pumps he reimbursed us for Feeling very let down and I soooo wish I would of went with my gut feeling when pulling onto this lot
Got our first car here just a month ago and it just gave us to much headache and frustration. A week after purchase engine check pop-ups, we return it for repair but after a week same thing happen again. The third time it happen they already ask us to use the extended warranty since we purchase a 3yrs contract but after the warranty company receive the diagnosis in which it was found out that the problem is the turbo they refuse to cover the expense coz the problem of the car is already pre existing before we purchase it. We are not experts with car, we just trust this people coz we thought they are dealing business with honesty and integrity but they surely don't. It is truly a very expensive lesson coz they only refunded us about 65% of the money we paid to consider that we return the car not yet a month after purchase, never again deal with this kind of dealership. Just prefer to go to huge dealership, although they are more expensive but its worth every penny and you have the assurance.

We bought a 2012 Lincoln MKS from here and Frank took very good care of us. Rob took care of the finance. These guys are absolutely amazing, even after delivery. They took care of everything with smiling faces. We're extremely happy with our purchase and after sale service. We would highly recommend everyone to visit Borgys, and ask for Frank.
Had a great experience here buying a 2002 BMW 330i in January 2019. I was a little skeptical at first but they made the deal and negotiations very fast and convenient. They even threw in a set of winter tires! When my window regulator broke a few weeks after purchasing it was no problem and they provided me with a new part that I had installed on my own time. I am still enjoying the car! Thanks!
Don't ever deal with these people, I purchased a 2014 Chrysler town and country, they said it was out of province inspected, plus said they did their own inspection. After paying them $9500 for the vehicle, it broke down on the 4th day due to a transmission coolant issue, a $1200 repair . I asked them if they would pay for the repair, they said no, I even offered to pay for half, they still said no ! So save yourself alot of headache and deal with a " reputable" dealer !
Frank was great to deal with. Love the new to us car. We came from out of town and went to look at 2 cars on his lot we were checking out vehicles from Edmonton all the way to Calgary on Cargurus and bought one from Frank. We had a paperwork snafu at our local Registry office and Frank had no problem getting our stuff faxed up for us. Clean car in good shape.
Spoke with Saleman and Waqar, we were looking at a 2007 Mazda 3 price was $6000.00. Went and test drove the car, seemed very good for age kms were lower, but AC and 1 projector beam headlight did not work, returned to the car lot and put a down payment to hold the car, with the conditions that the AC and light had to be fixed by Borgy's and we would return on Monday to make an offer to purchase, nothing to that point had been discussed about final price. I transfer the deposit and immediately received a text claiming car was sold to us, seller would be responsible for AC and head light repair and they took off $50 from the price and then quoted us $6247.50. I came back with a counter offer as I felt that they were making us pay for the repairs by not bargaining in good faith, looking for $500 off and that it wasn't our fault the AC and headlight needed repair and that they should have been aware of this themselves before I drove it. SO over all I would say that there is no room for bargaining at Borgy's or that they will make you pay for all the repairs that they missed on the cars that they are selling, so buyer beware.
Purchased a car that came with a full mechanics inspection, that showed everything was satisfactory. Brought it in for an oil change after a few months to a local mechanic and there was oil all over the bottom of the vehicle that had built up over years, so the inspection report included in my purchase was clearly falsified. My mechanic power washed the old oil away and performed the oil change. He recommended I return in a few weeks to see if the leak could be pinpointed. Piston rod blew through the crankcase not more than a week later. Long story short, this car had major mechanical issues that were clearly known about and covered up, and still sold to me. When I complained of this to the salesman, I was told "These things happen. There's nothing we can do." Lesson learned. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! Go to a Certified Used Dealership who abide by AMVIC regulations.
