We ate at the blue strawberry takeaway for lunch today.I got a piece of Baraumundi Fish.It was awfull.It smelled strong tasted terrible. I took one bite and fed the rest to sea gulls.My friends got burgers they looked fine .The owners were friendly shame about the fish.

Word on the beach was that this is was the best burger in Hobart. I've eaten a lotta burgers in my life, travelled the world in search of the perfect burger. I wasn't planning on buying a burger at 10:30am last week, (as a professional I prefer my burgers in the PM), but after hearing the beach gossip I couldn't say no. The Blue Strawberry door was opened by a friendly face and the service was fast. After parting with a small amount of money, I unwrapped my perfectly packed BIG burger. I sat on the ledge at Nutgrove Beach, looking out over the sand and calm water. I inhaled a deep breath of the cool salty air and took a bite of the most delicious and unpretentious burger of my life.

I'm from Los Angeles and have been to a few burger places in Hobart, but the burger at the blue strawberry was incredible. Best burger I've had in Australia. A hidden Hobart gem with a good name.

Pie and chips, can't be easier than that. Pie is stone cold, chips are burnt black and coated in salt.
