People running it so nice and after hours,lady is aursome,polite .Have an after hours,key pick.up and self service booking is convienant and did work.Trustworthy staff ,would give change if needed.Right on hwy drive in anytime pay yourself and stay.

Clean enough. Bathroom wasn't the cleanest. Beds clean perfect to lay your head for the night but wouldn't have stayed for a longer duration. Would visit again for another night.

Beds good n its cheap but id only stay for the 1 night bit dirty really old not even sink in bathroom

Nestled between a busy railway line and a busy main road intersection, you may find the gday motel in Katoomba. If you find the car park is a bit small, have no fear, Trailers or trucks can park at your risk on the adjacent strip of wasteland. After being greeted by the 24 hr keys dispensing checkin machine and probably filmed ir photographed by the inbuilt camera we made our way to our $115 rooms. The cleaners have dine their best with the rather delapidated rooms, so all credit to them. But cracked tiles are hard to keep clean and slight whiffy odiur eminates from the bathroom drains. At night I noted that the motel itself looks to be built like a concrete bunker, and yet somehow we could still hear almost every move made by guests in the room above. Beds are a bit weird, but electric blankets were a nice addition. No restaraunt on site so we went for a shortish walk around town past the local courthouse/ correction facilities and a cinema that the locals seem to have grafiti their own cinema. Was cheap accomodation and clean enough. The other reviews on many websites seem baffling to me. On its last legs...
