Story

The Blue Elephant Thai Restaurant has been created with an eye on customer satisfaction. We do not feel we are just another ordinary Thai Restaurant and that is why we like to label our restaurant innovative and authentic. Our name comes from the fact that we are in the elephant house building in the heart of Parnell, Auckland.

Our wish is that everyone who visits us enjoys great food, a happy atmosphere and fantastic service.

We love our little restaurant and we hope you do too.

Great Thai food. I had the blue elephant curry when I was here and it was really good. I might try to up the spiciness next time and see how it goes.
This is well above your usual Thai, and actually run by a Thai lady and her husband! Entrees are wonderful and more than just the standard choices. Possibly the best part of the meal. Go for the platter for 2 or several depending on party size. I highly recommended this place.

If you love Thai food, this is where you should visit! Awesome dining experience in Auckland Central with nice people around. Great customer services and nice ambiance. The food is not very spicy, but if you like spicy, they will make it more spicy for u. Food portion are large and value for money.

My wife and I have enjoyed the lovely and relaxed atmosphere at Blue Elephant twice, and we've gotten the pad thai for takeaway twice to satisfy our occasional cravings. The staff is always incredibly friendly and attentive, and we appreciate that they use free range chicken in their entrees.
