This place reminds me the noodle places in Tokyo. Basement. Hidden. Yet food was exceptional. Just had our udon fix. Can’t travel this year. Glad Renkon bought Japan to NZ.
I love coming here, the food is always fresh and filling and it's great value for your money. My favourite is salmon misodare with extra vegetables. They cater to different dietary needs.

Tasty and affordable. The katsu curry rice was pretty authentic, the others were not. Oyakodon was bad. I recommend to stick with nz style japanese food, such as spicy chicken, sauce katsu, etc.
