Story

The original practice was founded nearly 60 years ago and since then has continually grown and developed into a modern high tech practice delivering excellence in dentistry.

Our stable team (combined experience at the practice of 135years! ) will endeavour to assure you the most comfortable, caring visits.

We offer a full range of treatments including routine restorative dentistry, crown and bridge including same day ceramic crowns, wisdom teeth removal, dentures, orthodontics, implants, preventative dentistry, metal free dentistry, tooth whitening, laser related treatments and facial cosmetic fillers and Botox.
Our gentle hygienist Anna is essential to our preventive approach, helping keep gums and teeth in great shape.

We also enrol adolescents into the government free dentistry system until age 18, and are able to offer WINZ quotes and ACC related treatments.

My 1st visit was an emergency case and I was very glad that they were able to accommodate me on short notice. The dental centre is such a lovely place with all the beautiful photos on the walls that definitely would make any patient feeling welcomed and comfortable. Dr Peter Raymond is an amazing, caring dentist, who was so considerate and explained to me in detail the procedure, as well as ensured that I was at ease while it was being done. Great job, Dr. Raymond and team!

Having attended the Blockhouse Bay Dental Centre for many years the staff and services have been impecable. 

Peter has been my dentist for his duration of time at the centre. The friendly personal and professional service he provides is exceptional. 

Recently I had a tooth removed! I was certainly hesitant about this, however the professional step by step information Peter provided with the procedure it was all completed in very little time and painless. 

I would highly recommend Peter as a trusted professional.

For those who hate the thought of a dentist visit, I can recommend Peter.
He has developed his technique to such an extent that procedures are
quite painless.Also, everything at the clinic is spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

I was a very nervous customer having not seen a dentist for many years. I found Peter to be non judgmental, friendly, caring, patient and most of all so gentle throughout the procedures I had done. He provides constant reassurance and best of all the entire procedure (root canal) was pain free!  I could not speak higher of the service provided by Peter and his team.
