Tons of people in a big space (which is still not big enough, there's too many people). 2 Kitchens which are full in the evening. Toilets/showers are sometimes full, especially after everyone comes back from work. Does get cleaned sometimes, but is usually dirty and there are tons of flies in the kitchen (really annoying). Literally right next to the railway. A few trains every day/night which practically drive through the camp and wake everyone (who isn't wearing earplugs or sleeps so close to the track that their car shakes) up. Starts at $80/week for tent/vansites if you share your spot with more than 2 people. Nice owners. Some connections to find you work and post is stored in the front office.

This place was an absolute disgrace! Untidy, dirty, uncooperative management! Loud parties by overseas backpackers. Management told me when I complained, “ this place isn’t for people like you” meaning your an older person this is for backpacking young tourists not older Kiwis! Worst experience of paid accommodation in my life. The lady manger offered to movie me away from the party but I was tenting and it was 11.00 pm. In there own rules they clearly state no noisy music or parties after 10.30.

if you are absolutely desperate for a place to stay...save yourself money and park elsewhere! okay we were told that there .might be a party Saturday night....and fine with that but blasting music and very loud peeps until 6 in the morning is absolutely rude. This place is def for seasonal/transient workers..long stay types who don't regard the long list of "rules" posted. Throw in the unclean conditions and this place ranks less than a 1. not a happy camper .

Great place to stay. Nice clean rooms at reasonable prices. Excellent service.

Great staff had an awesome 3 month stay ! Facilities are good and spacious The pool is worth it :D
