Coming for pandan pancake but it’s not available unfortunately : so i got the banana french toast and my partner had baked eggs. Banana french toast - I don’t think the flavour works at all, banana bread is too sweet combined with berries and maple syrup is sweeter than usual. Baked eggs- this one is quite good, a little small portion but much better than french toast Coffee is luke warm and tastes like water
One thing that is keeping me happy these days is our appetising Aussie brunch. I recently had one at Blaq Piq and besides Blackpink’s song on repeat in my head, I can’t stop thinking about their crispy pork roll, yuzu soufflé pancake and that tea smoked salmon.
Friendly patient staff, good breakfast and coffee options. The location in a small side street makes it a very nice quite place between high buildings. My personal "escape" place at breakfast for the last days I stayed in CBD. A bit pricey but for occasional breakfast there recommend.
The buttermilk pandan pancakes left much to be desired. They didn't taste as "pandan" as I thought it would be. However the wagyu bao was very delicious, and the shoestring chips and sauce were heavensent. The customer service here is lovely, I would definitely come back to try the other things in their menu.
I used to love their pulled pork with poached egg meal. But i’m back after a year and i’m severely dissapointedz. I got the “yuzu” hotcakes, which did not taste like yuzu at all, basically tried to eat it in so many different ways but still no yuzu. For $18, i’d give this one a miss. The only redeeming quality was the wall art outside the store.
Matcha latte was so good! It’s thick and creamy with the subtle bitterness. Coming from a matcha lover here.
It is a rather hidden cafe which made some of the best breakfast we have in Sydney. I would recommend for any foodie. This place may not be overly special in design but the food is great!
A cosy place to chill for brunch. Many people came for the panda buttermilk pancakes, came to try myself and it definitely lived up to the standard. Fragrant pandan taste with lots of fruits and even a delicate coconut ice cream on top of it. They also have a quirk specials menu which includes ox tongue dish.
Great coffee, great staff, good sitting and clean environment. Food is. Priced at adults meal but the is kids.
Best breakfast in my four days in Sydney and maybe ever! The Prosciutto Benedict and the Pandan Buttermilk pancakes were absolutely to die for. It’s a shame more people haven’t tried and reviewed this place. Definitely must try!
