Friendly staff selling Swedish home-made food and pastries. Nice community atmosphere
Had dessert there with a group of friends. Everything was very tasty especially the waffles! Staff are very friendly and helpful.
If you want to meet some Swedish people, you will probably find some of them here. It feels like you're in your Swedish friend's home having coffee and cakes with them. Unique experience in Sydney, no other Cafe is like this one. They also have a small selection of Swedish chocolates, and other stuff from there.
Found out about the place about 4 years ago when they had the Swedish Xmas Market. Since then i have been hooked and finding more about my Swedish traditions and food and happy, fun loving people :!! Cafe Svensson is a fantastic place to buy some Swedish small goods or to sit down and have some Swediah black coffee and a sweet delicous treat, like chocolate mud cake swedish style, waffles with jam and cream, cinnamon/vanilla buns etc :!! Staff and Priest are extremely friendly and welcoming and so is everyone who goes to the cafe :. They come there to relax, read a book or newspaper or to catch up with friends or make new friends :! This cafe is definately a favourite place and always makes me feel like I'm hone as soon as i slide the door open and step into the cafe :
I went there this afternoon looking forward to have some Swedish food and cakes, it was closed. It said on the website it was open... I'm only in Sydney for a week. I live in New Zealand, but I'm Swedish. Going out to Manly and cafe Fika tomorrow. Hope I got better luck there... Haven't had a Selma in 20 years...
Enjoyed the food a lot. Huge variety of dishes available. Happy to recommend..you can remember the day if you try once.
