I visited Australia for vacation and stopped at Bite of India to grab a bite. All I have to say was that it was the BEST food I have ever tasted. I have tried several Indian restaurants and none of them had ever met my expectations, but this one went above them. The staff was friendly and the place was cozy. I would highly recommend this if you want to eat with your family or friends!
Very bad food. We have dined in and have had takeaway food here. Very bad quality. The curry seemed like it was a leftover or a combination of two leftover curries mixed together. The rotis were either totally burnt or half cooked. Seriously, if you want to offer such disgusting food to customers who come into your restaurant to have a decent meal you rather call yourself a Substandard Indian restaurant. Will not recommend anyone who wants to have good Indian food here. But, then again if you want to have leftover curries and burnt rotis go ahead and put your tummy through pain. I would also like to add my child ate this food and vomited all of it and took a couple of days to recover. Very disappointed!!
Best food in the Brisbane but very disappointed with the customer service front girl when we went there first time she didn't had eye contact or any conversation hello , what u want to order..at all . She served us like there was no one on the table .. We thought she must had a bad day or any other problem so we enjoy the food and felt sorry for her silence , second time There was a gentleman and he served us with lots of respect and very good customer service , he had very welcoming nature. When we went there another time it was 8:50 , they close 9:30 , she was standing on the counter ,when we parked our car front of the restaurant, she saw us and started to fold chairs and brought vacuum and started to do vacuum in the dine in area like she doesn't wanted to let us in, I asked her if they were open or if we could sit or should get take away , she asked us to take take away , we said that's fine and we ordered take away , we were waiting for our take away just front of the restaurant when she left our food on the table inside and disappeared in the kitchen .i was wondering if it was my food???Anyway I think customers go there to have good time, to enjoy the food and they pay for it.so they must be respected . I can't complain the food. So credit goes to kitchen staff.
We have had bad experience with the quality of food served here. Their Chef's special Chicken curry claims on the menu to be a white curry made from cashew paste, tasted like chicken pieces added into Sambar..... Really.....Sambar...You heard it right. To all Subcontinent people, these guys don't know how to cook Indian dishes. Please go else where if you want authentic India food... Regards Tom
Have had a bit of a hit and miss with with Restaurant. When they get it right, it is fantastic, however last night the cut of meat lamb Rogan josh was terrible with 4 out of the 10 pieces of lamb just Gristle and fat. But aside from that, Out of the Indians restaurants on this side of town, this one still stands out as the better one.
i wanna give all stars to this restaurant after tried couple of time. Food is great Customer service was warm and nicely They were very respectful specially the front staff Thanks to all u guys bite of India serve me very great food and service. I was just reading some old reviews for this restaurant , with all respect I am bit surprised from a review by kuldeepKaur complaining about front staff, but I never had any experience from this place , it looks to me bit of misunderstanding between you two guys . in my views , restaurant staff not there to get insulted and treat them like a slave , they don't deserve , so if you respect them they will respect but if you go there in a purpose to insult someone , don't think you will get any respect and after that you complain about that, That's a good idea , I am clapping for you ms kuldeepkaur Kaur Thanks
It looks very basic restaurant but wow the food is sensational. Everything is cooked fresh so the wait is 20minutes or so. Bring a bottle of wine. Worth travelling to Oxley for a authentic curry.
Have been a customer for years! Can never ever go wrong with the butter chicken. Naan and Rotti are great also. Staff are very friendly. Wait time is usually 30mins-1hour. But worth the wait in my opinion.
Was a little disappointed when the previous Indian restaurant closed and this opened in its place. The food is delicious and there's plenty of choice, including a large vegetarian restaurant. Can't fault the service or the price either.
Really friendly and pleasant service. Generous portion sizes and a great authentic taste. Will definitely be coming back to this one. So lucky to have nice indian closer to home.
