Decent food but you go for the views. It gets busy at the peak hours, especially if you want a shaded seat. Food is good but about the same as any typical Thai place.
Absolute waterfront restaurant with south east Asian cuisine. Fantastic for a lazy lunch on a sunny day. Menu is mostly comprised of Thai dish, and also includes some Indonesian and Australian. We had Pad Thai and Beef Rendang. Both felt a bit weak on spice and seasoning in comparison to what we were used to, but still very enjoyable. Rendang had homemade feels, was full of tender meat. Price may feel slightly dear compared to similar dish in Sydney City, but reasonable considering the location and service. Service was with smiles and was great - staff has made sure we felt welcome and happy. Overall we would love to return to Jinja on our next visit to The Entrance, and would recommend to others the same.
Probably some of the nicest thai food my chinese family and I has ever had in Australia. We also ordered a piece of grilled barramundi which admitedly was quite expensive for a small piece, but it was very fresh and grilled and seasoned perfectly.
The staff at this restaurant were lovely and it’s in a very scenic location! Unfortunately I was a little disappointed with the food. It could be because I’m vegan and I asked for a noodle dish to be slightly altered so it was free of animal products. Nevertheless, my meat eating partner thought his was alright!
A miserable night weather wise but gas heaters and exuberance of staff made up for the weather. My wife had an animated discussion with female staff on types of shoes my Asics got no mention . Food was excellent. I can well understand why this restaurant in summer would be in great demand. Even a rainy night could not diminish the view. Highly recommended for casual dining.

Food is perfect every time, can't go past the coconut prawns.. I wish for a straw to finish the delicious sauce.. The meals are generous and the situation on the water at the entrance is dreamy. . The staff are wonderful and chef has created amazing variations to the set menu on request.. A wonderful place!!
What a lovely surprise this was !! Early Mothers Day outing and it did not disappoint. Excellent menu, beautiful food, great coffee, service was so friendly and respectful. I will be going back for more UPDATE: went back a week later and tried different dishes and were equally impressed ! Its my favourite restaurant now !
Amazing food, great service. We booked last minute and they were able to fit us in making us aware we needed to vacate for a second booking. We were made to feel welcome and not at all rushed, would highly recommend this restaurant
Fantastic food and all round experience. Service was a little slow but the super friendly staff were busy and the great meal made the wait worthwhile. Generous sized portions. A little on the pricey side but then the view is amazing and should be factored in.
