I was happy with the breakfast but when it came to coffee it was weak. My mocha tasted like brown coloured milk. The hash brown was too small as the dish was but pricey.Recommended dishesVegetarian Omelette
It's a lovely location by the lake and at the heart of the retirement community. The food was average, and it did take up to 35 minutes to get our coffees though they were delicious. So, leave plenty of time to sit and enjoy the fresh air. We also almost couldn't find a table, so plan ahead for that.
Came here today the second time . Didn’t expect to see laksa on the special menu this week. It was very delicious and full of fleshy prawns. Price was comparable to other restaurant but having a nice view around makes it much more enjoyable. Will definitely come here more often to see what’s new on special!
Fine coffee and great food. On the grounds of a retirement village means there is always a crowd of friendly locals to chat with. On the edge of a great round-the-lake walk which is perfect for burning off the cheesecake that was too good to pass up.
Coming here for 10 years and have witnessed the slow demise of what used to be a fantastic cafe. The menu is now far more limited, and lacks simple items like pancakes, and the inclusions in the menu are reduced. They no longer substitute items in meals, nor do they have kids items, for breakfast at least. This will be our family's last time coming here.
Lovely view and good food. Love their specials, always a nice surprise. Service is excellent. Highly recommended
Quite a cute little cafe situated very close to Lake Ginninderra within the grounds of the Kangara Waters Lifestyle Community and Care Centre. It provides a convenient rest stop for cyclists, runners and walkers around the lake. Well used by the residents it is often busy and can take a while to be served. The cafe offers a limited range of sweets as well as a breakfast, brunch and lunch menu. The best thing is the proximity to the lake. Not ideal for coffee connoisseurs. I’d say 3.5
A beautiful blue sky, warm in the sun Canberra winter day made more enjoyable by the Birrigai outdoor area. Lovely coffee venue for our Lake G circuit walk.
Friendly staff, quick service and tasty breakfast. With a nice ambiance and peaceful view of the lake to enjoy your weekend breakfast.
Good food. Great service. Pleasant surroundings. Indoor & outdoor seating so Dog friendly. Vegetarian options: Had a lovely vegetarian platter
