I have to be honest the clientele of this place is quite poor. Lots of construction workers and people who keep to themselves. Because it is so large it seems that no one really talks to each other unless you are part of a group already. Not the place to meet other travelers. Stay somewhere smaller.

Good rooms and nice bathrooms. Kitchen is very large and well equipped. Can be a bit noisy outdoors.

Great for short stays. Very close of center city with a swimming pool but expect crowds.

My daughter and her partner tried to book in but because he didnt have a licence just a Australian Police Issued Identity Card he was told it was unacceptable. The receptionist was quite rude. Even though the manager says he wasnt. I asked for the manager because when i rang the first time i was * hung up on.* VERY PROFFESSIONAL I booked this hostel on line and it never mentioned that you needed a passport or license to stay there. I had even rung Billabong and no one told me then. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.
