My partner recently had his bike serviced at Bike Barn. The new mechanic went above and beyond for him. He has not been able to stop talking about the service he received. The bike was taken in, in a very bad state no maintenance has been done in the bike since he bought it 12 months ago. Just a brief outline of our experience: we were kept up to date on the progress, we were quoted telephonically as the bill was high although more or less what we were expecting $700 or so, we gave the go ahead and two hours later we were contacted to say the bike was ready. We didn’t collect the bike straight away so we received a text message to remind us to collect. We collected the bike this past Saturday and we were almost confused as the bike looked different. It was in showroom condition. To top that my partner rode the bike on Sunday and couldn’t stop talking about it, the bike is now going better than it even has! Thank you so much keep up the good work and excellent service. I know the retail industry is hard and you don’t normally hear about the good stuff, so I just wanted to share our experience. We will definitely be back!
Went in to look at new Marin bikes today, staff member was pretty rude, and dismissive regarding my enquiries. Went to Barrys Pt Rd Bike Barn, and got the same bike I enquired about, with a much friendlier service, for a better price. I wont bother going here again.
the people in the store need to be better trained in customer service i.e. helping with knowledge when in the store and the online store just this Christmas has been had bad service with not not updating when the shipment will come in. After ordering a whole week ago, I was told yesterday that my daughter's Christmas present will not be arriving until after Christmas. This was the mistake of the online store but they have not contacted me again today as I requested to let me know the earliest arrival date.
Clayton from Albany bike barn worked magic on my bike that other mechanics said was impossible. What an AMAZING job. Besides taking pride in, his innovative and compromising approach made it work. Never thought it was possible. Appreciate!!!
Very helpful staff, purchased a new bike and the manager there really went over and above to make sure I got what I needed. Highly recommend!
