We arrived after hours due to assisting other travellers who were stranded along the highway. Owner answered his phone in a pleasant manner and met us at reception to give us entry 'after-hours', which was greatly appreciated. After travelling in 46 degree heat, it was disappointing to not have access to the advertised pool facilities. We are Big 4 members and in remote, dry and hot locations it would have been appreciated to have been advised about this upon pre-booking our site. Cleanliness of bathroom facilities was great and the friendliness of staff was appreciated.

Whilst it was clean, I understand work was ongoing, but there were open trenches, not cordoned off , sliding door to camp kitchen very hard to open, big TV no remote if it was there well hidden, drive direction, there was none, and the one that got me was paying for a shower, I know it is in an isolated area of Australia, but other Parks in Coober Pedy don't charge for a shower. The receptionist treated me like I was a kindergarten kid , which got my back up, the only reason I will stay there again is that the security is better

Got in hot and tired. All we wanted was a nice warm shower and NO hot water in our room. Tried again in the morning..still none. Wasn't happy!!

Would have received a 4 but we called before hand asking if they had pots and pans plates and utensils for us to use. They said "we should" have pots and pans but bring your own utensils and plates. So we just brought those but when we arrived they had no pots and pans and told us we never said that and just said we should buy pizza from them... Yeah, also the "game room" has no games and it's just a couch with a tv. Could have been better if they actually had what they advertised. Also the WiFi is 2 Mbps... Which they said was high speed. O well.

Stayed for 3 nights on our way up. Park was busy and it was late afternoon/early evening so trying to find 3 sites together was very difficult. Found water and grey water points a fair distance from camper but we managed. I found the showers to be somewhat rather narrow and cosy but water was nice and hot. Camp kitchen was good. On the way home we stayed for one night. Decided to go for pizza but there was not enough room for the 8 of us (2 were kids aged 4 & 8) to sit together due to table arrangements. No one offered to move tables for us! . We went to sit outside but there were no lights and were told that we had to have the pizzas in boxes if we wanted to stay there. With it being too dark and cold we opted to take the pizzas back to the camp kitchen. Would have preferred to stay at the shop but had no choice. On this second visit found the service lacking!
