One of the smaller BigW stores I've been too, some areas look like they need restocking but thankfully I got the product I thought I needed but grabbed a better product by mistake costing the same amount because I trusted this store too muchnnI ended up being able to go to the checkouts and was able to be served by a person. Friendly customer service.nnNot too old of a store too. Looks fairly fresh for a BigW once you go inside. Plenty of parking for a stand alone store with a cinema and Woolworths nearby
Absolutely appalled by one of the staff working in big W today I had just finished shopping there and spoken to one of the ladies about leaving my trolley while I run across the road to collect my car from being cleaned after I had gone to Safeway to grab a few groceries. First lady i spoke to was okay with this.nI returned to leave my trolley while I ran across the road to collect my car and was refused the Second Lady I had spoken to wanted absolutely nothing to do with it and said I was not allowed to leave my belongings. I can understand this but I am 8 months pregnant and struggling to walk let alone push a full trolly so I surly would have thought she would have had a little bit of compassion for me.nThis has been an awful experience and I will never go back to big W in Sunbury again.
Recently, I visited Big W in Sunbury for the first time, and I came away genuinely impressed. I found everything I needed—and for less than I expected too mind you, there was a sale on . A helpful staff member near the change rooms pointed me in the right direction, which was appreciated.nnBut it was the lady at the checkout who truly made my day. Her customer service almost blew me away. She was patient, calm, and incredibly kind. She packed my bags so thoughtfully—heavy items at the bottom, just as you’d hope—and then took what felt like a generous amount of time to carefully explain the points system to me. She didn’t rush, and she didn’t seem bothered that the line behind me was slowly growing. Thankfully, no glares from anyone waiting either!nnSome might say it’s better to keep the line moving, but in my opinion, it’s these small, human moments that really matter. They’re the things that bring a smile and stay with you long after you leave the store.nnI was so caught up in that moment that I forgot to ask her name, and unfortunately it wasn’t on the receipt. But if by chance she sees this—thank you. This was on 23rd January 2026 at 12:06 pm, store number 0383. You are truly a credit to Big W.nnThank you, kind lady.
Group of 14 people stood in line for 12hrs waiting for the Pokemon Premium drop. Allocation was 18 for this store, yet when the store opened the staff member split the line which meant everybody at the back who had only waited for an hour got to the front of the second line and purchased over people who had waited all night. Then after turning people away, staff “found” another box and the last couple in line were able to purchase after waiting less than an hour. Ridiculous management and poor acknowledgment of respect. Wouldn’t bother coming here for the next drop.
I visited Big W Sunbury today to exchange a gaming console and had such a positive experience thanks to Sue and Karen. They both went above and beyond to help me, were incredibly friendly and patient, and made the whole process quick and stress-free. Nothing felt like too much trouble for them.nnThank you so much for your wonderful customer service, I really appreciated your kindness and professionalism!
