Asim provided me with exceptional customer service at the service desk. He was friendly and so helpful. He was unsure where to find the product I was after, but took his time to check a few places, asked a colleague who was seemingly unfriendly and unhelpful and continued to search for me. I appreciate the time and effort he took for me. Thanks, Asim! Great service is hard to come by these days and it was so refreshing to receive that today.
All registers closed so you have to check out yourself but they still expect you to queue up for the one person at the door slowly checking receipts. Hire Staff!
Fantastic Customer Service today from Nick, who without hesitation stopped what he was doing and showed me to the Manchester Section.nReece did the same with another Customer.nGreat job Guys!nGood to see that these Young Guys put Customer Service first. Very impressive.nThank you so much.
Big W at Springfield Orion Mall – A Disappointing Shift in Customer ExperiencennI don’t usually write reviews, but my recent visit to Big W at Springfield Orion Mall was frustrating and deeply disappointing. The product I purchased was of poor quality and didn’t meet expectations. When I tried to return it, I was told refunds weren’t allowed—despite no clear signage, no verbal explanation, and no transparency around the policy. It feels like the rules are shifting based on internal convenience, not customer fairness.nnWhat’s especially concerning is that this kind of treatment seems to have escalated after the recent anti-immigration protest in the area. Whether coincidental or not, there’s been a noticeable change in how customers are treated—less patience, less respect, and more rigidity in policy enforcement.nnTo make matters worse, the store manager, Miss Lou, was dismissive and rude. Instead of listening or offering a solution, she refused to acknowledge any fault and responded with hostility. It’s one thing to enforce policy, but it’s another to harsh customers who are simply asking for clarity and fairness.nnRetail should be built on trust, transparency, and respect. Sadly, Big W at Springfield Orion Mall has failed on all three. I won’t be returning, and I’d advise others to be cautious—especially when it comes to product quality and customer service.
This is a particularly nice Big W store. It has all the usual offerings. What sets it apart is the lovely clear, wide aisles, even for the special displays. This makes it very accessible. There is a small disabled change room. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's nice to see both self-service and manned checkouts which are always staffed. Open, well lit and clean.
