Always come here for dog food and looking at baby stuff, pretty awesome stock range. The lady that runs the ACO area with the glasses and short hair is always nice, especially when the machines are being a pain.

Not one register open with staff on, 3 of the customers in line including myself wanted a register with a person.  I had an overflowing trolley of goods that would never fit the self checkout.  2 other older customers requiring assistance and 2 other self checkouts going off needing the supervisor.  When I kept questioning opening a register or getting assistance to put through at a self checkout the supervisor was less than helpful.  She was overwhelmed with customers needing assistance.  The service desk staff member was not assisting and the door person was asked to leave her post to put the trolley i had through at a register after I had stood for over 10 minutes waiting for assistance.  Open a damp register and actually have proper customer service of quality.

This is a particularly nice Big W store. It has all the usual offerings. What sets it apart is the lovely clear, wide aisles, even for the special displays. This makes it very accessible. There is a small disabled change room. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's nice to see both self-service and manned checkouts which are always staffed. Open, well lit and clean.

Today at around 3pm, I went to this store with my girlfriend. We noticed the lady on the door was one we’ve had a problem with in the past. Last time, she stopped us at the door demanding a receipt be provided before she could let us go. I opted out of paper receipts, was locked out of my everyday rewards app and she was saying she couldn’t look at my bank statement. Today, we bought 4 items and a bag. Scanner did not go off, it never has because I work hard for my money I know, a 20 yr old making money at this age is CRAZY!!. She stopped me and asked for a receipt. I went to show her my bank statement but she denied. I went to walk off and she told me “no no, i need a receipt”. I asked her why she only stops us and she said “it’s my job” I then said in our past encounter she let everyone else that didn’t have a receipt go and only held us back to which she denied… I asked her if I could speak to a manager which she laughed and said “go go in the store”. She was rude and waved me away. I spoke to Paul about the situation, expecting that to be it with the matter as he said he would investigate. We are a young, gay couple, sounds a bit like she was discriminating against us. When leaving, she stopped us again and said in a rude manner “so what happened?” I told her “Have fun speaking to Paul because he said he’s gonna investigate the situation” to which she laughed and waved me off again. This grown lady was laughing at me and trying to get a reaction so I turned around and told her that she was immature… All other staff I have dealt with here are so nice so looks like they’ve picked the wrong one.
