Great range of all the usual Big W items.nBoth Halloween and Christmas stock was on display which was great! Prices are good as they usually are and there’s always a special to be had.nSelf serve was easy to use and I love earning rewards points to save for use at Christmas.
You can get some great stuff in the BIG W.nnIt's a bit like the English version of home bargains / B&M or The Range.nnWhen ever I have visited Australia I would always pop into a BIG W.nnThey are reasonably priced
My first time here as I have just moved up to QLDnBig W was very neat tidy , I went into get Crystal Cat Litter but they only had 1 packet.nI bought this and used the self serve.nSo pretty easy really
A bit tired. Yellowed ceiling. Scuff marks. Staff try hard but understaffed and under resourced. Website said they stocked our desired item in this store but 3 different staff couldn't comprehend what we were after nor it's location. Try as we all might including a 20 minute queued wait to speak to a department leader we couldn't find it anywhere and went elsewhere nearby and at first mention we had it at the same price in a couple of minutes flat. If you want a nondescript kettle then ok but if you want a special item maybe just go somewhere else and save time and bother.
I was able to get my hands on some lamb meat today. I didn't want to cook it in the electric frying pan. It would be much nicer in a slow cooker. As ours are in storage in Brisbane, I need to purchase another. Bunnings prices were ridiculous. I went to a hippoponamus shop, there wasn't one available. The lovely lady suggested Big W knowing we were travellers. We went to Big W & found exactly what we were looking for at a fantastic price. Looking around the store. There was a lot of great products, at fantastic prices. A really great place to shop.
