This place is lovely for a walk and scenery. Been going there for years from walks to day/night fishing. The summer is full of life here people sun bathing and playing games. Could be amazing place if there was a small cafe or something.Visited onWeekday
Nice peaceful place for a walk. Usually plenty of parking. Not really suitable for wheelchair users as paths are more tracks, and gets very overgrown.Wait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Great place to take a stroll with the dog. As others have said, spoilt slightly by inconsiderate visitors leaving their rubbish behind. Luckily it wasn't too busy as it could have been a lot worse.
Lovely place for walk shame about litter over there especially over the back where the litter gets blown from landfill
Great little lake that's bursting with nature. Once out of the small car park, all foot paths are dirt tracks, not concrete, so be warned especially in the rain as ground will be slippery. Walking round the entire lake is only about 1.5-2.5km but it has hills and slopes to make it a brilliant work out. Also a great place to explore.
Went with kids to swim. Loads of people swimming , fun on water on hot day. Definitely will come backVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
A great area to come and chill, stunning surroundings. But unfortunately the locals use it as a rubbish dump and a motocross track.
Great place for wild swimming even though the signs say 'No swimming'. The lake is deep and the lakes bottom near the shore is filled with stones, so you better bring the swimming shoes. When I was there the water was very clear a bit further from the shore.
Don’t let my photo fool you. Lovely nature reserve let down by rubbish and fly tipping everywhere. Sad.
This would be a lovely place if it wasn’t littered with rubbish. The water was lovely and clear but we didn’t feel safe as it seemed as groups of younger and older men camped out there all day to get drunk on a Sunday morning in November. Wish it was better looked after by its visitors.
